[MENU] AR&E Standard Fees

There are five tiers to AR&E hourly fees:

4	Application Design and Programming, Applications Research	$120
5	Systems Analysis, Scientific and Legal Research, Human Factors Analysis	$150

In addition, there is a premium fee of $20/hour for out-of-area (OOA) work, separate from travel expenses, due to the necessity of managing Kimberton, PA operations remotely.

Certain projects, mostly in the Applications arena, are performed in consideration of a fixed price unique to the project.  Frequently, analysis that is billed hourly leads to a design and specification that is implemented for a fixed price.

Service Level Agreements offered by AR&E supply full Systems Administration, User Support, and Crisis Management for a fixed fee per month (usually $500).

AR&E builds and maintains enterprise-level server systems in the Assembly Lab in Kimberton, PA, as well as providing hardware repair and maintenance services, and forensic analysis.

Note that AR&E does not make a profit on parts and materials.  We make our money on analysis, design, procurement, storage, assembly, installation, configuration, maintenance, coordination, and support services.

In general, the customer orders the parts (usually on-line) according to AR&E supplied specifications and instructions with whatever assistance from AR&E is desired.  The customer pays for the items directly to the vendor, and has them shipped to wherever they are needed (e.g., the destination site for installation, or the Kimberton Lab for assembly, configuration, and test).

AR&E does business with vendors that have proved to be efficient and cost effective, with excellent customer service.
